2011 MEMBERSHIPS
2011 membership notifications will be mailed out with your WHE forms in November 2010. If you have a credit card on file it will be billed for your 2011 membership on January 3rd, 2011 or cheques can be sent in prior to the January 3rd deadline. If you do not have a credit card on file or a credit in your account for your 2011 membership on January 3rd, 2011 your membership will not be renewed until you do.
Associate Member – for those people wanting to keep a membership in order to receive news from the office and to maintain their Banner subscription, that are not registering animals, you can now take out an Associate membership for $50.00 . As an Associate member you cannot vote, hold office or register animals. This membership would work for new members who join ahead of the time they wish to start registering animals or retired members who are not registering animals.
2011 WHOLE HERD ENROLLMENT
Whole Herd Enrollment forms will be mailed to the membership in November 2010 for those submitting on paper. Those submitting “online” can enter “online” starting in November.
January 3rd, 2011 both spring and fall calving females must be enrolled. If not enrolled by this date you will be billed a late fee of $25 on top of the $25 enrollment fee. Fall calving females can be removed from 2011 enrollment up until August 1st, 2011 , after this date they stay enrolled.
Spring Calving females – your 2011 Whole Herd Enrollment will be billed to your account on January 15th, 2011, due and payable within 30 days.
Fall calving females – your 2011 Whole Herd Enrollment will be billed to your account August 15th, 2011, due and payable within 30 days.
HOW TO FILL OUT YOUR ENROLLMENT FORMS
Below are instructions on how to enroll your animals for 2011, the forms are identical to last year’s forms. These instructions are also for “online” members submitting their enrollments “online”.
• SEASON S/F – this first column is the calving season what is entered is the season she was the preceding year. If you changed from spring to fall calving you enter an F for fall calving and vice/versa.
• DISP CODE – enter the appropriate disposal code if this female is no longer in your herd. “Online” members need to enter a disposal date, you can use the date you are entering not the actual disposal date if unknown.
• HOLD Y/N – this column is for females that are still in your possession but you don’t wish to enroll for 2011. This is also the column that determines if your female is to be enrolled or not. If there is a N (NO) in the column this female will be enrolled for 2011. If you want to HOLD this female and not enroll her for 2011 you enter a Y (YES). Be aware if you put a female on HOLD for 2011 and then wish to enroll her later on in the year you will be billed a late fee of $25 on top of the regular enrollment fee of $25. If you put a female on HOLD in 2011 and then wish to enroll her in 2012 or a later year you will be billed a late fee of $25, a reactivation fee of $25, and the regular $25 enrollment fee for the year she is being enrolled. Online members enter a HOLD date which would be the date you are entering, if you wish to put this female on HOLD and not enroll for 2011.
